JSVIAT Successfully Completes Overseas Visit to Malaysia and Cambodia

From May 18 to 24, a delegation from Jiangsu Vocational Institute of Architectural Technology (JSVIAT), led by Vice President Zhu Tiebi, visited Malaysia and Cambodia to promote international student recruitment and support the development of overseas programs such as the Zheng He Institute.

During the “Jiangsu–Malaysia Higher Education Cooperation Fair” at the National University of Malaysia, JSVIAT signed a cooperation agreement with the Malaysia-China Kuantan Industrial Park. Governor Xu Kunlin of Jiangsu Province visited the JSVIAT booth, expressing high expectations for the institute’s international education efforts.

At the “Jiangsu–ASEAN Education Cooperation Conference” in Cambodia, JSVIAT and the University of Management and Economics jointly inaugurated the Battambang Institute of Applied Technology. The event was attended by Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister Hang Chuon Naron, Governor Xu, and Chinese Ambassador Wang Wenbin. The delegation also met with Cambodian alumni to gather feedback on the institute’s global initiatives.

The visit included on-site ispections of the Zheng He Institute in Phnom Penh and meetings with partner institutions to explore cooperation in curriculum development, faculty exchange, and skills training.

Anchored in the Belt and Road vocational education framework, the visit strengthened JSVIAT’s international partnerships and laid a solid foundation for deeper collaboration in Southeast Asia.
